Tekir Suyu

 55 km north of Kahramanmaras in Tekir Township is the place where Tekir Suyu emerges as a clear blue lake 27 kilometers long. Tekir Suyu leaves from this source and heads south, merging with the Değirmenönü Suyu until it reaches Arkıtça. Further down, cascades come out of the Döngel caves from an underground source and are the source of the Döngel Suyu. Trout can be found in the cave’s pools. The Döngel Suyu flows into the waterfalls up ahead and pours into the Menzelet Dam reservoir.
