Acar Hamamı
The Acar Hamam is located on the boulevard near the Maraş Fortress hill and has no official record as to when it was built or by whom. However, it is thought to have been built during the repairs made on the Maraş Fortress during the reign of (Kanuni) Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent in the 14th century. The structure is made of stone and earth with the usual 3 sections for dressing, washing and warming and 4 corner cells. The building is covered with an eyelet dome.
